All workstations in the laboratory are equipped with a modern PC for Windows operating system. Four experiments are prepared, every one in two examples. For the first experiment LabVIEW software and hardqware is installed on a PC to regulate an electronic system. The second experiment is managed with a PC-controlled Moeller SPS easy800 to regulate an electronic system. The third experiment works with an electromechanical Servo Control System to investigate open and closed loop speed and position control.
For the fourth experiment a process tank is controlled with a Siemens SIMATIC S7 SPS for heating and fill level regulation. All processes can be analysed with modern digital oscilloscopes.

  • Standing bar regulated with labVIEW
  • Pending ball regulated with labVIEW
  • Position control for a helicopter model with MATLAB
