Rectorate

The rectorate is responsible for all matters that are not expressly assigned to other governing bodies, for example-

• structural and developmental planning, including human resources development
• planning of on-campus construction
• drafting budget proposals and implementing them
• distributing the staff positions and funds which are allocated to the university
• allocating land and existing premises

In addition, the rectorate carries out the decisions of the senate and the university council. The rector represents the university and chairs the rectorate, the senate, and the committees of the senate.
